Textiles

I originally trained in textiles and, for some time, small embroidered pieces like these were the mainstay of my practice.  Most have now been sold to private collectors, corporate clients and museums, while a few remain in my personal collection. They are made from mercerised cotton on a linen groundcloth and are inspired by the medieval English ecclesiastical embroidery known as Opus Anglicanum.
